After meeting your guide at a location of your choice, you will proceed to the Kutafya Tower and enter the Kremlin through the Trinity Gate. The programme includes the following landmarks:
- The Arsenal (now the residence of the Kremlin Guard)
- The State Kremlin Palace (formerly the Palace of Congresses)
- The Senate Palace, now the office of the President of Russia
- The Tsar Cannon
- The Tsar Bell
- Cathedral Square and the Faceted Palace (viewed from the outside)
- The Grand Kremlin Palace (viewed from the outside)
- The Kremlin Garden, including the oak planted by Yuri Gagarin
The visit also includes entry into the principal cathedrals and the Patriarch's Palace (subject to availability):
- The Cathedral of the Dormition, where Russian tsars were crowned for over four centuries
- The Cathedral of Archangel Michael, the burial place of Moscow princes and several Russian tsars
- The Cathedral of the Annunciation (optional)
- The Patriarch’s Palace exhibition, presenting aspects of 17th-century life and selected objects from the Armoury collection
Optional extentions (additional time and cost apply):
- The Armoury Chamber: Treasures of the Russian Tsars (+2 hours)
- The Diamond Fund (self-guided visit, +30 minutes)
At the end of the visit, your guide will accompany you back to your preferred location or assist with arranging a taxi. You may also choose to continue with a walk through Red Square and the city centre.
